Natural hookah charcoal should be lighted by electric stove. Natural charcoals are the clearest way for shisha smoking and will let you enjoy the flavor of your shisha tobacco totally. Most simple way to light these coals is on an electric stove with an exposed heating coil. You can set your natural charcoals directly on the heating element and turn the stove on (medium or high), placing the hookah charcoals after 2 or 3 minutes. You will see the charcoals are ready when there is no “black” on the surface of the coals and they are completely covered in gray ash and glowing red-hot in the middle. Quick lite shisha charcoals can be lighted by simple fire. Quick Lights are the simplest hookah charcoal to light. You just hold a flame to the coal and within a few sec the shisha charcoal will spark up and begin to light. We advice you light the quick lights outside, because sparks will fly everywhere. Also never light a quick light coal on top of the hooka bowl as the extra smoke and gases coming from the lighting will usually change the taste of the bowl.
